GDCC Junior Trials
The Glenelg District Cricket Club (GDCC, the Club) invites junior players (girls and boys) from within, or bordering, the defined Glenelg Metro Grade zone (i.e. the Glenelg zone comprises Post Codes 5044, 5045, 5046, 5047, 5048, 5049 and 5158) to attend pre-season selection trials and training sessions for its junior teams for season 2023/24: -
  •  Glenelg Junior Cricket Girls Academy
  •  Glenelg Junior Cricket Boys Academy (U12)
  •  SACA Ray Sutton Shield (U13)
  •  SACA Premier Cricket under-age competitions
o Under 14 Reds and Whites
o Under 16 Reds and Whites

​NICC will be held in the Red Centre from 22 - 28 February 2023

After a two-year absence due to COVID-19, the NICC will again bring together some of the most talented Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander players from across Australia with seven men’s and five women’s teams competing for national titles in the T20 format.
2 GDCC Women's players will be participating.

Eleanor Larosa and Ella Wilson are in South Africa representing Australia in the inaugural U19 Female ICC T20 Cup.

​Australia's first match is this Saturday night at 6.30pm against Bangladesh, and is available to watch on FoxCricket and Kayo.

​The South Australian u19s finished the National Championship in 4th position, with Lucy Bowering, Eleanor Larosa and Captain Ella Wilson having an important role. 

Some really exciting news was announced this morning:  Eleanor Larosa and Ella Wilson have been selected in the 15 player Australian u19 Women's squad who will be travelling to South Africa for the inaugural ICC U19 Women's T20 World Cup, starting 14th January 2023.
