An amazing fight back from the GDCC Women's 2nd Grade on Sunday 10 Feb 2019. Opposition were 4/81 in 30th over chasing 84 for victory. Glenelg girls managed to get them All Out for 83. A huge achievement from this young team, including 2 great run outs under pressure.
Congratulations girls, great start to the 2019 season!

Women’s Cricket at Glenelg
Glenelg District Cricket Club is committed to women’s cricket led by coach Graham Sedunary. Our current team is inclusive and focused, supported by the Club to improve our skills, team efforts and our commitment to the game.
In season 2018/19 we have fielded a Women’s B Grade team, and a Women’s ATCA team. This is our third season with a women’s cricket . Huge improvement in just our second season finishing third (following our first season finishing last) means on-track for reaching our goal for an A Grade Women’s Cricket team. The Club has a friendly atmosphere for girls, women and their families, always being included at Saturday night presentations and socialevents.
During summer we train on Gilderol Stadium, with excellent turf nets and a beautifully curated oval.
Training during winter is at Gillespie Centre on Cross Road on Sunday nights from 6:30pm – 8:00pm. These nets sessions are focussed on improvements during the off season, and include bowling, batting and catching practice.
Anyone wishing to come and try out for the team is encouraged to contact Graham Sedunary firstname.lastname@example.org 0451 071 797
